Annette Brüls

Annette Brüls was appointed Vice President for the Diabetes business unit for Western Europe & Canada at Medtronic in May 2011. In this role, she is responsible for leading the Diabetes business and team, ensuring best-in-class execution. Prior to this position, Annette served as the Vice President for Marketing for the Cardiac Rhythm Device Management Division at Medtronic.

During her extensive career in the medical device industry Annette worked in a number of positions at the European level including clinical studies management, marketing and business leadership in the cardiology sector at Guidant and Abbott Vascular.

Annette holds a master of science in electrical engineering with honors from the University of Liege.

Today, Annette and her husband Olivier, along with their 2 children, live on the Swiss Riviera.
