Fabienne Eckert

Fabienne Eckert is the Secretary General of the European Council of Optometry and Optics (ECOO) since 2013. ECOO is the European umbrella association representing the interests of optometrists and opticians from 24 countries. ECOO aims to promote eye health to the public across borders and to harmonise clinical and educational standards of optometric and optical practice throughout Europe. As an EU public affairs and communications professional, she manages the day-to-day activities of ECOO, including its EU interest representation, awareness raising activities around eye health and membership support. Fabienne is a German national, who has been living and working in Brussels for many years.
