Gianpaolo Fusari

Senior Research Associate, Helen Hamlyn Centre for Design

Gianpaolo holds a joint MA/MSc in Innovation Design Engineering from the Royal College of Art and Imperial College London. He joined the Helen Hamlyn Centre for Design in 2010 and is a Senior Research Associate in the Health & Patient Safety Lab. His specialism is design and research: using advanced user-research tools to derive evidence-based design briefs and working with users and stakeholders to design, evaluate, develop and commercialise cost-effective solutions.  
Gianpaolo has worked on projects such as: the Emergency Ambulance; initiatives to reduce violence and aggression in Emergency Departments and a portable workstation to improve safety, consistency, workflow and information management for General Practitioners.
